What You’ll Do:

The Office 365 and Windows Administrator within the IT Operations team will serve as the primary person for ongoing maintenance and support of our Office 365 (O365) platform, client workstations and mobile devices (endpoints).  The primary tasks of this position will be to architect and troubleshoot O365 environment configuration and user accounts, and endpoint related systems and software.  This responsibility includes assisting with the day-to-day operations for the IT infrastructure to enable the growth of Join Parachute. These duties will be performed in compliance with policy guidelines and within timeframes as defined in the team’s SLAs and/or project requirements.


  • Perform administrative and maintenance tasks in the O365 tenant services to ensure optimal service configuration and proper license and rights allocations.
  • Implement tenant and AD policies related to user access, risk and compliance, security controls (e.g., MFA), and alerts to monitor for specific activities; monitor and action alerts.
  • Establish and perform O365 best practices for providing fit-for-purpose, stable, and secure environment.
  • Administer and support Office 365 and Azure policies.
  • Maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring.
  • Provide user support in the areas of OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint access, software downloads, printing, and related desktop services.
  • Engineer, test, deploy, manage, and support endpoints (desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (mainly iPhones and iPads) to include device management (MDM) and patch management.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses.
  • Participate in gathering and analysis of business requirements for software capabilities.
  • Serve as ultimate escalation point for technical support.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Three plus years’ experience in administration of Microsoft O365.
  • Five plus years’ experience in client endpoint support.
  • Knowledge of Windows client environments, including both hardware and software, at an advanced or expert level.
  • Experience with Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, and O365.
  • Experience with remote support.
  • Experience with Endpoint Configuration Management systems such as Microsoft SCCM/Intune and ManageEngine Desktop Central.
  • Proficient in one or more modern, general purpose scripting languages, especially PowerShell.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with persons in the course of performing assigned duties, including management and outside business associates.
