Summary Of the Role:

The Project Manager, Systems will be responsible for the design, build, administration, and execution of cross-functional systems projects. This includes the coordination of the software development life cycle (SDLC) using GAMP 5 V-Model, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and FDA Quality Systems for all internally developed software application and 3rd part applications.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Systems subject matter expert (SME) on assigned projects
  • Develop project plan in digital project management tool (e.g., ClickUp).
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines to ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on quality management system and business impact.
  • Coordinate and manage the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Microsoft PowerApps and SharePoint applications according to GAMP 5 V-Model.
  • Coordinate Buoy Donor Management System releases and the implementation of 3rd party applications.
  • Maintain the Computer System Inventory, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded and kept up to date.
  • Work with cross functional teams such as Regulatory, Validations, Operations, Quality, Finance, Regulatory, L & D and Training

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology and/or workflow management tools and project management systems (i.e., ClickUp and Trello)
  • Experience managing software development projects, particularly those involving Microsoft PowerApps and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with GAMP 5 V-Model software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Effective communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • 3+ years' experience in the blood-plasma, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry (or where relevant a biomedical research organization) with proven experience in SDLC preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Works in the Austin, Texas Corporate Office
  • Overnight travel when required for active projects.
  • Position is mainly sedentary work (office work) but on occasion may include lifting and moving people and/or items.

Compensation: 90K -115K
