What You’ll Do
A Systems Specialist is responsible for maintaining and deploying improvements of the donor management system, learning management system, and related technologies.
Responsibilities and Skills
- Assists as a functional expert for the donor management system, learning management system, and related technologies.
- Assists in the development and implementation of new tools, applications, and other system enhancements as required.
- Assists the Director, Systems with the execution of Projects performed related to system lifecycle.
- Assists in the development of project plans, including the coordination of resources and monitoring of timetables for project deliverables.
- Assists with the creation and completion of required documentation for testing and validation of new systems and system enhancements.
- Provides status reports according to established timelines to supervisor and relevant individuals.
- Escalates problems and ensures timely and accurate resolution.
- Provides all required documents to work in conjunction with Quality Department to ensure systems are validated and maintained under change control consistent with company policies.
- Adheres to all applicable quality standards and follows appropriate protocols and documentation requirements.
- Assists the Director, Systems with the coordination of training as needed.
- Assists the Director, Systems with maintaining the established Quality System under the quality guidelines and helps ensure that all operations in the department comply with the Company’s Quality Program.
- Other job-related responsibilities as required.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to write and communicate technical information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite and database applications.
- Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate with others to explore alternative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment to refer decisions to management as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma plus 2 years’ experience in IT Systems development or equivalent work experience required.
- At least 5 years of industry-related experience preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Works in the Corporate Office, remotely, and in the Donor Center as needed.
- Position is mainly sedentary work (office work) but on occasion may include lifting and moving people and or items.
